Download Mac Photos Extension Markup

by aglemeadiaberge 2020. 10. 3.

Markup Your Pictures in Photos With the Photos app in macOS Sierra you can markup your photos with shapes, text and drawings without leaving the app. You can use this to add to your photos before sharing them. You can revert back to your original at any time. I dragged Markup to the top of the list so that it is the first app extension to show since I have a lot of photo app extensions. Tap 'Done' on the upper right corner. There should be a list of app extensions when you tap on the Photos extension icon when editing a photo and Markup should in this list.

MediaWiki is free software licensed under version 2 of the GNU General Public License. Because MediaWiki is licensed free of charge, there is no warranty, to the extent permitted by applicable law. Read the full text of the GNU GPL version 2 for details.

System Requirements

MediaWiki requires PHP 7.3.19+ and either MySQL 5.5.8+, MariaDB, or one of the other two possible stores. For more information, please read the pages on system requirements and compatibility.

Warning: MediaWiki is not compatible with PHP 7.4.0 to 7.4.2 due to an upstream bug. See task T246594 for more information.

Download from Git instead

Extension

Active MediaWiki developers should instead download from Git to get the latest version of the MediaWiki software. The git repository has earlier versions of the software, so it is possible to switch to ('check out') a particular release.

Signature downloads

  • GPG security signatures to verify your download with GNU Privacy Guard:

Alternatives to manual installation

Some users may prefer to skip manual installation by using a pre-integrated MediaWiki software appliance or hosting services; repositories of some distros also increasingly offer packages for MediaWiki, with different degrees of frequency and extensions coverage (e.g. Debian, Ubuntu, Fedora, Gentoo).

What next?

Stay up to date with releases, and keep your server secure!

Legacy releases

If your MediaWiki installation is heavily modified, it may be difficult to incorporate the latest official changes/updates to MediaWiki. To support such users, we maintain old branches of our code for up to a year for the legacy release and up to three years for the legacy long term support release.

Development releases

If you want to run on the latest development (i.e. alpha) version, you can either download it as mediawiki-master.tar.gz, or download from Git.

From Git you can either download the complete repository (about 528 MiB)

or the latest revision only (about 85 MiB; this is often called a shallow clone: less time and smaller downloads).[1]

Photo Markup Online

You can also view the latest source code in your browser.

Old releases

You can find tarballs (with extension *.tar.gz) of all versions of MediaWiki back to March 2005 (the earliest being MediaWiki 1.3.11) in the MediaWiki download archives.

To browse, including even older versions, see the tags of the Git repository.

  1. This could cause reference problems when you later use 'git pull' to upgrade your shallow clone and the newer revision refers to older revisions which are not yet downloaded to your system. In such a case you can simply download more - increase the depth value - or all revisions later, or make a fresh shallow clone.

I wanted to use the new Markup feature in iOS 10 in the Photos app on my iPhone and I discovered I need to enable it by add it like an app extension. Here's what I did to get it working.

Open a photo in the iPhone or iPad default Photos app. Tap edit icon.

Tap on the Photos extensions button (circle with three dots).

Download Mac Photos Extension Markup Tool

This should bring a list of photo app extensions which are plugins that are provided by apps on the iPhone. You may not see any so you have add them and one of the extensions is Markup. Tap 'more' to add Markup. You may not see 'more' if you see a list of app extensions so you need to swipe to the left and it will be on the far right.

There should be a list of photo app extensions which Markup is one of them. You may need to scroll down to see Markup. Enable it by swiping right on the switch.

The order of the app extensions may be rearranged by the user by pressing down on the three-band icon on the right of each app extensions and dragging it. I dragged Markup to the top of the list so that it is the first app extension to show since I have a lot of photo app extensions.

Tap 'Done' on the upper right corner.
